Ellis Park STAKES
Purse $300,000. One Mile. (Includes $150,000 – KTDF - Kentucky TB Devt Fund). For Three-Year-Olds . Free nomination, $500 to pass the entry box and $500 additional to start. Supplementary nominations may be made at time of entry by payment of $2,000 (includes entry and starting fees). $150,000 Guaranteed plus an additional $150,000 KTDF for KTDF eligible horses. After payment of 1% to all owners of horses finishing sixth through last, 62% of the remaining purse shall be paid to the owner of the winner, 20% to second, 10% to third, 5% to fourth and 3% to fifth Weight: 122 Lbs. NonWinners of a graded sweepstakes at a mile or over in 2025 allowed 2, Lbs. a sweepstakes at a mile or over since March 9, 4 Lbs. Starters to be named through the entry box by the usual time of closing. The maximum number of starters for the Ellis Park Derrby will be limited to twelve (12) starters. If more than 12 pass the entry box preference to start will be given to graded stakes winners (in order I-II-III) then those horses having accumulated the highest lifetime earnings. A trophy will be presented to the winning owner. Nominations closed on July 26th, with 28 nominations and 1 supplement.
